Long reveals that Ecuador covers the expenses of Lenin Moreno in Geneva

Suspicions are true. Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Guillaume Long has confirmed this morning that the stay in Geneva of Presidential hopeful for the Alizanza Pais party Lenin Moreno is financed by the Ecuadorian state.
Albeit Long did not mention the amount, with his statement he dispels doubts: it was not known if the stay was financed by Ecuador and the United Nations, since Moreno is the special envoy for people with disabilities of the Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki- moon.
In any case, what Long did unveil is that the money the state spends on the stay of Moreno represents “less than 10% of the total cooperation” of the country to the UN.
