Lula da Silva Undergoes Radiotherapy

Brazilian former president, Luiz Ignacio Lula da Silva began this morning his first session of radiotherapy to totally end the larynx cancer which was already treated with chemotherapy.
Da Silva was admitted this morning on the Syrian-Lebanese hospital before 11:00 am local (13:00 GMT). After undergoing the first session, Lula will rest the hole day at the hospital.
The radiotherapy cicle is expected to be prolonged six to seven weeks in order to remove waste from the tumor, which initially was three centimeters.
After that in December concluded the third phase of chemotherapy, the tumor shrank by 75%.
