Maduro compares Chavez’ departure with the death of Christ

Venezuela’s President in charge Nicolas Maduro, on a speech address to a crowd in the state of Barinas, reminded the disciples’ reaction to the death of Jesus Christ and compared the physical disappearance of the son of God with the death of President Hugo Chavez Frias.

“2000 years ago on this day the disciples of Jesus were carried away by the pain, some even stopped believing in Jesus Christ asking themselves why if Jesus was the Son of God was gone physically, some in their grief came to doubt the existence God, our creator, “he said.

Then he said that “we also had those feelings on March 5 at 4:25 pm (day when Chavez died). We were never prepared to lose him physically. ”

Finally, Maduro said that “March is already leaving with the most painful and tragic mark, but here it comes the Resurrection April, a revolution with a kickback victory, of battle, April of a Living Chavez.”

Moreover, the ruling Tv Station Vive TV made an animated video in which it is imagined the arrival of Hugo Chavez to paradise, who enters by  the hand of his grandmother and finds great characters of American history such as Simon Bolivar, Ernesto “Che” Guevara, Eva Peron, among others.
