Manchester United Wins the Premier League

Manchester United earned the victory in the Premier League after the game ended in a tie against Blackburn. The Ecuadorian striker, Antonio Valencia, earned a place in the history books for being the first of Ecuadorian player to win the British soccer league.

Wayne Rooney added the goal that put the game in a tie, during a penalty shot due to an infraction made by the Mexican player Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez. Ferguson’s team only needed one point to win the title.
