Mandela has been hospitalized for a month

Today former South African president Nelson Mandela, has one month hospitalized in Pretoria after a relapse in his health due to his respiratory problems that are a result of a severe lung infection.
An official document of the presidency of South Africa reported last Thursday that the world leader is still alive; “in a serious condition but stable”.
The symbol of the struggle against the racist regime of “apartheid” was admitted on June 8. The health of Mandela, who’s about to turn 95 years old this July 18, worsened on June 23, when his condition became critical.
Known by his followers as Madiba, he continues to receive constant tributes and good wishes of both his people and the state, and also from the rest of the world.
Nelson Mandela was elected South Africa’s first black president in 1994 in the first democratic elections in which all citizens could participate without distinction of race. Four years before that, Mandela was freed after 27 years detained in “apartheid” prisons, where he performed forced labors that resulted in his current respiratory problems. For his struggle and work, Mandela received the Nobel Peace Prize, which he shared with also former president of South Africa, Federik Klerk in 1993.
