Argentine Marcelo Fleitas confirms he will leave the Club Sport Emelec after eight months as head coach of the “electric” team.

Fleitas will leave his office this Sunday, after the match against Olmedo, in Capwell Stadium.

Marcelo Fleitas debuted as coach at Emelec, where he earned a second place in the 2011 season. He directed the last two games of the second and final phase with Deportivo Quito. The team, along with Fleitas, ranked the second round of the Copa Libertadores 2012, which the Blues failed to achieve for a decade. They advanced as second in their group.
