Massive exodus marks the start of the Carnival

The passenger terminals of different cities of the country, mainly the larger ones, were taken over by a huge number of people eager to travel to several destinations in order to enjoy the Carnival holidays that will run until Tuesday 12, regular activities will resume the next day marked on the Catholic Christian calendar as Ash Wednesday.
According to different media in the last hours of yesterday afternoon, especially in Guayaquil and Quito, the terminals registered endless columns of passengers seeking to travel to the coastal beaches and the center of the country, like Ambato, to participate in the Festival of Flowers, fruit and bread, or the already famous carnival of Guaranda.
According to statistics from the the Ministry of Tourism, the holiday moves around a million people, some of whom experienced developments, in some cases because the tickets were sold, in others because the hotel capacity reached its limits. However, they and others insisted on traveling forcing transport unions to incorporate new departure times.

To provide security two separate operations were carried out by both the National Police and the Transit Commission of Ecuador, in order to prevent registration of unfortunate criminal criminal or accidents.
