Masters 1000 Montreal: Federer will face Tsonga

The Swiss tennis player and world number three Roger Federer defeated Vasek Pospisil today, after debuting at the 1000 Masters Montreal (Canada) 7-5, 6-3 in second round.

Pospisil, local player, after beating Argentina’s Juan Ignacio Chela in two sets, achieved his dream of facing his idol in a match that lasted one hour and 17 minutes.

Federer will face tomorrow for the next round to Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, number 13 in the ATP rankings. (BG)
