Messi again chosen as the best footballer in Europe
The Argentine star, Lionel Messi, today received the award from UEFA as the best player in Europe for the 2010-11 season, beating his fellow Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez and Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
With a total of 53 goals in every game form last season, which alongside his colleague Xavi achieved to crown first in the Champions League tournament and Spanish.
The award from UEFA for the first time comes and replaces the Golden Ball France Football magazine, which merged with the FIFA award for best player in the world. (BG)
