The Anti-Narcotics Police Unit in recent days detained a woman carrying 700 grams of methamphetamine, coming from Colombia. This is the first seizure of this type of alkaloid in the last three years in Guayaquil.
The use of this drug is rare in the domestic market. However, the finding reveals a traffic network that uses the country as a transit point.
Psychiatrist Julieta Sagnay explains that thiscrystal shaped hallucinogen is composed of phosphorus, iodine, battery fluid and brake fluids for cars.
There are several ways of camouflaging the methamphetamine. One of them is mixing it with ‘H’, a very common drug in the country.
