Microtrafficking uses two new drug mixes to attract young people
The “Mariachi” and “Cappuccino” terms are used by microtrafficking networks to identify new drugs mixed with the so-called “H.” According to the authorities, they are equally lethal and affect mainly young consumers, so measures are being prepared to combat them.
According to investigations, the most critical moments are when students enter and leave school. Therefore, commissioners and police officers will be present at these times to retake the controls against the microtrafficking.
Reports that new drugs are being traded among young people caught the attention of the authorities. Deputy Secretary for Drugs Diego Tipan said they are executing an early warning system to detect these new cases.
A sachet of “Mariachi” is a mixture of marijuana with “h,” while the sachet of “capuccino” is made of cocaine and heroin of low quality. In both cases they include ingredients such as rat poison or cement.
Drugs Deputy Secretary indicated that the effects are as deadly as a common drug and may also contain methamphetamine.
To address this problem the authorities ask parents to to be vigilant in order to recognize those drugs and denounce those who sell them.
