MIKTA (Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey, Australia) hopes to strengthen relations with Ecuador
The MIKTA countries (Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey, Australia) organize a seminar where they will present the opportunities they offer to Ecuador, next Thursday, September 26.
This coalition of countries, created in 2013, has three specific objectives: to strengthen bilateral relations, to consult on multilateral issues of common interest and to propose creative solutions to the main international challenges.
Mexico carries out the coordination of MIKTA. His ambassador Raquel Serur, indicated that three tasks have been proposed for this year: economic cooperation for social development, strengthening of multilateralism and collaboration in international forums and sustainable development and progress in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
“Ecuador is undoubtedly a friend of the MIKTA countries. We share democratic and progressive agendas and seek to generate conditions for development and social welfare, ”said the diplomat.
