With this program, MAG seeks that organizations have the capacities for better governance and that they be managed more efficiently and with a business vision.

It also aims for organizations to have the tools to become large agricultural businesses, to better manage the sale of their products and reinvest their profits in improving their production and giving them added value.

This will be achieved through training leaders with a business vision, who carry out this proposal to make associative agriculture a better business every time.

There are about 1,900 participants from 670 associations registered on the platform to be part of this program and access the certification upon completion of the program in two months.

Andrés Pareja, undersecretary of Agricultural Innovation Networks of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), indicated that this program will allow participants to become rural leaders, through the acquisition of different capacities, generate their own solutions and create new opportunities for deal.

“More than a training certificate, the knowledge acquired will be reflected in the work done in each organization, turning them into successful businesses,” he said.

Minister Xavier Lazo Guerrero stressed that “strengthening associative is the fundamental pillar to get ahead in the country” referring to the benefits that associativity provides for the development of the productive sector, to be more efficient, better organized and achieve objectives set for the benefit of all.

He highlighted the importance of young people in the field, since they are currently working on different technological strategies for electronic marketing, which will allow direct trade with virtual store applications.

“In Ecuador everything is possible, and there are tools to do it,” said the Minister and invited the participants to work hand in hand, to be guides and agents of change, taking advantage of and transforming the life of the peasant family.
