Ministry of Culture Denies Request to Remove “El Gran Hermano” Book

By press release, the Ministry of Culture of Ecuador, denied his withdrawal ordered of “El Gran Hermano” (“Big Brother”) book from the stands at the Book Fair in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Ministry pointed out that official Torres, name listed as the sponsor of the incident against the authors of the book, does not belong to its office.

“The Ministry of Culture guarantees the cultural rights and promotes the promotion and dissemination of any book without any distinction. The man who appears in photographs distributed and reproduced by several media is neither an official of the Ministry of Culture nor a person hired by it,” is said in the release.
