Miss Tourism 2013 dies during protests in Venezuela

Miss Tourism Venezuela 2013, Genesis Carmona, died at noon on this Wednesday, after getting shot in the skull during a rally from the opposition wing to the government of Nicolas Maduro, in Valencia, capital of Carabobo.

Carmona was chosen as Miss Tourism Carabobo 2013 in May last year, at age 21. She was crossing the 11 semester of Social Sciences, with specialization on Marketing at the Technological University Center Valencia (Unitec) and also worked as a professional model.

She had participated in the fashion week in the city of Valencia as well as the Fashion event Venezuela In Moda.
