Montañita prepares for ‘Reef Classic 2012’

Reef Classic Montañita
From January 31 to February 4, Montañita beach will host the 3rd date of the Latin Tour ‘Alas’ of the ‘Reef Classic Montañita 2012’.
The best event of the beach season in Ecuador expects more than 100 surfers competing in the area of Punta de Montañita (Santa Elena).
The Reef will be divided into the following categories: Open, Junior, Ladies and Long Board (long board).
Dominique Barona, Latin American champion of professional surfing and Isidro ‘Chipita’ Villao, current champion of the Long Board, are two of many who will represent Ecuador in this Reef.
The awarding ceremony for the winners and the election of ‘Miss Reef 2012’ will be held on February 4, the closing day of the circuit (6:00pm GTM). Band California will be playing its songs in the event.
