More than 40 people die from cold in Afghanistan

Afghanistan is having the coldest winter in years, more than 40 people have died frozen from the cold, medical officials said.
The Ministry of Health has registered 41 deaths so far, mostly children, due to freezing in three provinces. Except for four children, 24 infants died in the capital, Kabul.
Ghulam Sakhi Karga, health ministry spokesman, is establishing mobile clinics to try to assist people affected by cold.
