Municipality of Guayaquil increases its budget up to 707 million for 2016

Guayaquil City Council approved yesterday unanimously the draft budget of 2016 which rose to $ 707’200.000,00 compared to this year ($ 663’853.000).
The council explained that the proposed draft states 179’200.000,00 dollars as own resources, equivalent to 25.34% of total revenues; by incomes through the government 283’000.000,00 dollars, 40.02%; by-bank cash balances and accounts receivable, 187’000.000,00 dollars, equivalent to 26.44%; and loan finance, 58’000.000,00 dollars, 8.20%.
It was also explained that 602’265.000,75 dollars of the budget were allocated for public works, social projects and community service; and $ 104’934.999,26 for the payment of labor and operating costs.
