New allegations against Kirchner by subsidizing producers and artists
This Sunday, TV program “Periodismo para Todos”, hosted by Argentine Jorge Lanata, denounced huge contracts provided by the Krichner government to local artists and also large subsidies to production companies.
The newspaper Clarin reported that the Singer Fito Páez got several contracts of hundreds of thousands of pesos for playing in different acts of Kirchner’s government. Meanwhile, the newspaper La Capital reported that the prosecution ordered the investigation of Paez’s contract of 2’200.000 pesos ($408,232) equivalent to five concerts; this value exceeds the maximum set by the law (50,000 pesos, $ 9,278).
In this same tv program, Lanata showed how, through a program of the Ministry of Planning, directed by Julio de Vido, producers were financed by the government for fiction projects in digital TV, in addition the millionaire payment to actress Andrea del Boca, through the University of San Martin, for the production of a soap opera.
