New Spam Pretends to Be a Google+ Invitation

The Internet security company, BitDefender, discovered a new virus that spreads through facebook pretending to be an invitation to Google’s new social network, Google+.

It is an application called “Google Plus Direct Access”, which promises to give invitations to Google+ users after they click “Like” on its fanpage, however, no user has received an invitation.

A recent study presented by BitDefender revealed that 25% of users have had malware on their facebook walls.
