New York State Senate To Discuss Gay Marriage Bill Today

The gay marriage issue will be discussed in the New York Senate today. It was announced yesterday that the Republicans from the Senate will have a closed doors meeting today at 10 a.m. and then they will go trough an open session to vote in order to approve or eliminate the bill.
It has been almost a week of delays and there have been protests for and against the bill. Last night, the session ended at 11 p.m. and a decision is yet to be made.
The Senate republicans will first discuss another issues that are also considered as important to New Yorkers and then they will debate the gay marriage bill. (MS)
