The leader of the Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante party, Alvaro Noboa, confirmed his support to the CREO-SUMA’s presidential hopeful Guillermo Lasso and ruled out campaigning with him. “I do not think it will be convenient for that twenty people are campaigning on the back of his truck because it sounds like something else.”
Yesterday, at a press conference, Noboa concluded that Lasso holds enough votes to win the elections under the logic that all (without exception) those who voted for the five candidates of the opposition in the first round will do it in the runoff elections for Lasso. After some calculations, he believes that the candidate will reach the 57.4% of voted compared to the 42.5% obtained by Lenin Moreno (PAIS).
Noboa said he had nothing against Moreno, and it is President Correa who has something against him. “Before the end of this government, we should arrange this with blows on the street in the Creole way so he can release that unfounded hate.”
