After the severe storm that struck yesterday the northeast U.S., people attempt to return to normality.
Winds up to 120 km/h and 74 cm of snow caused: streets closures, public transportation cancellations, delayed trains, and thousands of homes without electricity service.
The three New York airports were closed almost 24 hours, today at dawn they reopen their doors. It is estimated that airlines have lost a hundred million dollars.
The region tries to recover its normal activities, the airports are working and it is estimated that in three days they will regain the 4,500 flights that did not took off.
New York Mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg, says that there are many streets to clean, but everything will be ready to celebrate the New Year.
