The Ecuadorian National Electoral Council (CNE) ended 100% of the ballot scrutiny, yesterday at 16:09, with the review and the entry of the last two vote registers from Ecuadorians living in Piura, Peru.

According to the CNE, 19 provinces culminated the disprove phase and the results were entered into the general system of scrutiny for its consolidation.

Izquierda Democrática Party (ID) yesterday challenged the results of the plebiscite in the province of Pichincha.

The disprove phase results are still pending in Guayas, Santa Elena, Manabi, El Oro, and three electoral spots outside the country.

CNE President, Omar Simon, said the institution will decide the day of the official proclamation of results, which is expected to be next week, depending on the number of disprove cases they might have.
