Oil rises to $40 per barrel in NY’s Wall Street
Posted On 18 Mar 2016
The rise in oil prices, which ended for the first time this year above 40 dollars per barrel, dyed green the streets of Wall Street.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average, which is the main indicator, rose 0.90%, the S & P rose selective 0.66% and the Nasdaq composite index rose by 0.23%.
Except for the first few minutes of indecision at the start of the day, traders in the New York park gambled on purchases decisively encouraged by the rise of crude and even at some point the Dow Jones went up more than 200 points. (I)
