The World Bank approved a loan for 150 million dollars to benefit four million Ecuadorians through projects related to protection and risk mitigation. With the money, the State seeks to reduce the possible effects of “El Niño” and the Cotopaxi volcano.

The Risk Mitigation and Emergency Recovery Project in Ecuador will have a total cost of 168 million doolars, of which the national government will contribute $ 18 million. (I)
