Olimpia won in the semi-finals of the Libertadores

Olimpia of Paraguay won 2-0 to the Colombian Independiente Santa Fe in the semifinals match  of the Copa Libertadores of America, disputed yesterday to about 32,000 spectators at the Defensores del  Chaco Stadium in Asuncion. The rematch will be played in Bogota on Tuesday.

The key winner will face the winner of the duel between Atletico Mineiro of Brazil and the Argentine Newell’s Old Boys, whose first encounter will be tonight in Rosario and the rematch in Belo Horizonte.

For his part, the South American Soccer Confederation (CSF) conducted the draw for the matches of the first stage of the South american cup, in which was known the rivals of Barcelona, Emelec, Liga de Loja e Independiente José Terán, Ecuadorian representatives.

The toreros will face Mineros of Venezuela; the millionaires, will play against Sport Huancayo (Peru); the team from Loja will face Deportivo Lara of Venezuela and Independiente will play against Deportivo Anzoátegui.
