One of the Ecuador’s Most Wanted Criminals Was Arrested

One of Ecuador’s most wanted criminals has been arrested. Carlos Andrés Miño Flores, a.k.a. “Tayo Tayo,” was caught by police due to a warrant issued in 2010.

“Tayo Tayo” has committed over 49 crimes since 1996, including the theft of Supermaxi supermarket in La Garzota (a neighborhood in Guayaquil). Despite all the evidence is against the suspect, he could be released due to a revocation order issued last year by the Fourth Criminal Court.

Meanwhile, Miño is still retained in the National Police’s cells until it is decided whether he will stay behind bars or embrace freedom.
