Participate Learning, a global education organization, started a new call for Ecuadorian teachers who wish to teach in educational establishments in the United States for a period of three to five years from the next school year that begins in August 2021.

This program allows teachers to improve the quality of the second language through a family and work experience in another country, and also increases their possibilities of obtaining better job opportunities. Thus the country can have more trained personnel to increase bilingual education, the entity said.

Ronald Ramírez, recruiting coordinator for Latin America, mentions that the cultural exchange program today has 90 active teachers.
The chosen teachers will have a salary equal to that of a US education professional, medical insurance, airfare, visa processing and induction during their period of residence in the North American country.

Those interested must have fluent English, a university degree in teaching, a minimum of two years full-time work experience within an educational institution, possess a driver’s license and experience driving a vehicle, since teachers must move to their workplace. .

The organization, in a statement, clarified that teachers who have families can also apply because the program includes the management of visas for the family nucleus (spouse and children) during the years of stay of the educator in his teaching task. To date, 130 male and female teachers from the country have participated in the exchange program. (I)
