Posted On 04 Feb 2015
Gabriel Rivera, from the ruling party and head of the Audit Commission, indicated the research on the operation of the Dhruv helicopters will be resumed.
Rivera said the previous Commission already analyzed the process of contract; Now the operation and training of the pilots will be analyzed. Rivera explained that he will ask the appearance of the Minister of Defence and senior military commanders.
On the other hand, the opposition suggested another option. Diego Salgado (CREO) recommended forming an occasional specialized committee for analysis, control and research activities made by the Executive Branch on the subject. That committee should be composed of representatives of movements and political parties in the Parliament.
