Oscar Pistorius, First Paralympic in the Olympics

The double amputee with prosthetic legs South African athlete, Oscar Pistorius, will represent his country in the 400m and 4×400 relay competitions at the London Olympic Games.
Pistorius announced today his presence at the Olympics through a statement.
The athlete said he is “proud” by the decision and added: “I know that my speed and fitness are constantly improving, I’ll get to the Games in an optimal time.” (MZ)
