"Outraged" in Brazil Protest Against Corruption

Today in Brasilia, 300 meters away from the national independence’s day parade, chaired by President Dilma Roussef, more than 25,000 people mobilized to protest against corruption.

These days, some 35 Brazilian cities will hold their own protests organized by social networks, where the movement “Outraged” against political corruption is planning several demonstrations that will include the participation of more than 130,000 citizens.

In Sao Paulo five rallies are planned in different parts of the city. In Rio de Janeiro, the event has been convened on September 20 in the Plaza de Cinelandia.

O Globo Newspaper said that these demonstrations have been announced by organizers as peaceful and detached from any political party”.
