Pablo Campana: “We will not sign a free trade agreement”
EcuadorNews:
The Minister of Foreign Trade Pablo Campana anticipates that the new Advisory Council will be made up of a board of four representatives of the public sector – two economic and two productive authorities – along with four others from the private sector. Another council made up of 25-40 representatives of the guilds will be subjected to this Advisory Council, where issues that affect the economy and trade, such as tax incentives and restrictions, will be discussed.
According to the Campana the challenge of Ecuadorians is to unify the country and sustain dollarization. “We are always going to protect our industries, and we will never go for a free trade agreement,” said Campana.
