Pacific Alliance and Mercosur talk about a possible integration
Posted On 03 Nov 2014
Chancellors of the Mercosur countries and the Pacific Alliance met this Saturday in Cartagena, Colombia, in order to evaluate the possible alliances that they could reach.
“The bottom line is that we will keep talking,” said after the meeting the Argentine Foreign Minister Hector Timerman.
“The Pacific Alliance invited us to listen to proposals on how they are working while Mercosur provided an overview of the state in which we find ourselves,” he said.
“We believe that all dialogue mechanisms are positive in the region and we celebrate being able to organize this meeting,” said Timerman.
