Pacificard and Interdin registered profits of $ 9’476 .53 in the first semester

Credit cards issuers and management companies PacifiCard and Interdin, respectively recorded profits of $ 9’476 .53, 3.72% in the first half of 2014, more than the same period last year ($ 9’136 .59), indicates a report of the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance (SBS for its Spanish acronym).
PacifiCard, issuer of MasterCard and Visa in Ecuador, showed gains of $ 3’647 .56 (38.49%) during the first 6 months of the year.
Interdin, issuer of Diners Club, Visa Interdin, Visa Banco Pichincha, and Mastercard Banco Pichincha, generated benefits worth $ 5’828 .97 (61.51%).
According to the Superintendency, until June 2013 3’151 .887 credit cards would have been registered.
