Paez denounce issuance of 87 illegal loans by Cofiec bank
Andrés Paez, CREO Assemblyman, said that possesses documentation of 87 loans issued by the bank Cofiec without legal guarantees.
Most of the amounts border $ 15 thousand and $ 25 thousand, but also were identified a group that requested values between $ 150,000 and $ 400,000 and petitioners are individuals, said Assemblyman.
“The characteristic of these loans is that was discarded in the creation of guarantee and its authorization is left to chief executive of the bank (Antonio Buñay) said Paez.
Documentation held by Páez was received in reserved form and has been forwarded to the Superintendent of Banks and Insurance, Pedro Solines, and the General Comptroller Carlos Polit, to initiate the investigations.
Currently there is a open case against 19 former executives of the institution due to the unlawful delivery of $ 800 thousand credit in favor of Gaston Duzac and is expected the pronouncement by the court on the judgment call.
