Parish boards of Guayas are already integrated

The Provincial Council of Guayas completed the payroll of dignitaries that make up rural parish boards. According to the Organic Law on Territorial Planning (COOTAD for its Spanish acronym), the councils shall be composed of all mayors and board membersof a province.

For this designation, the 29 presidents of rural councils of Guayas were summoned in Guayaquil to elect delegates, but only 25 of them attedend the call.

In the process were chosen by unanimous voting four representatives of Alianza PAÍS- Democratic Centre (AP-CD), two of the PSC-MG alliance and one of Avanza.

With this result, Prefect Jimmy Jairala will count on a wide majority, because 7 of the 25 mayors of Guayas won thanks to the support of AP-CD and 7 thanks to AP. Another 6 are from PSC-MG, 2 from CREO , 1 from PRE, 1 from Avanza and 1 from the Socialism.
