Today Pedro Paez was positioned by Fernando Cordero, the head of the Main Assembly, as the new Superintendent of the Market Power Control, in the Assembly saloon. After the brief ceremony, 20 people congratulated Paez for his new charge.
From now on Paez will be handling all the practices in the market and of controlling that there aren’t any abuses of monopoly powers in the different economic sectors of the country.
During the possession of Paez, Ramiro Terán, one of the assemblymen present said that, “This superintendence would be like an IRS, which will follow the less powerful,” referring to pressure towards the lower merchants. AV
