Pelileo fleet resumes route to Guayaquil
After having fulfilled the temporary penalty provided by the national agency of transit (ANT), that suspended its service for seven days, the cooperative’s fleet Pelileo resumed yesterday its frequency Ambato-Guayaquil, so informed by the manager of the bus terminal in Ingahurco, Enza Sarasty.
This sanction was imposed after the accident suffered by bus 33 of the company on March 16, which left a result of 13 people dead and 24 injured when traveling the route Bucay – El Triunfo.
Sarasty indicated that the thirteen shifts that the Pelileo fleet has, departing from Ambato to Guayaquil, have been completed without difficulty.
However, the relatives of the victims of the accident expressed their rejection of this enactment of the ANT, and consider it to be unfair because they claim that it was not fulfilled fully because the cooperative continued to work on other routes in the three regions of the country.
In addition, since last Monday drivers were tested for a re-categorization in Aneta, and units to a review at the Agency of the ANT in Pelileo.
