Pension fund managers will meet with Correa

Managers of pension funds will meet with President Rafael Correa at the Palace of Carondelet, next Monday, at 10:00.

This was reported by Juan José Castelló, president of the Unemployment Fund for Teachers (FCME), at a press conference jointly with the administrators of four founds corresponding to Petroecuador, the Civil Aviation Management of Social Rehabilitation and National Development Bank (BNF).

The points listed on the meeting are that the issue of pension funds is treated in the new Organic Law of Social Security, that the freedom of each participant be recognized to choose the management of their savings and the right to return the state contribution in funds be widespread.

The meeting with the president shall be given after most Alliance PAIS in the Assembly processed on first reading the proposed reforms to the administration of 54 pension funds through the Bank of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (Biess).
