Vinicio Castillo Carvajal, police accused of attempting to assassinate President Rafael Correa during the attacks of 30-S, and sentenced to 12 years in prison, was pardoned this Tuesday. Carvajal resorted to the pardon resource last September 18, and on December 17, the Interior Ministry notified the respective report to the presidential office.
