Ecuadornews:
In the midst of a dispute over who replaces State Comptroller General Carlos Pólit, who by the way is involved in investigations in the Odebrecht case and who is on leave abroad, prosecutor Juan Carlos Zúñiga accessed this control agency yesterday with a Police contingent and took over the state facilities.
Around 15:00, Zúñiga requested the entrance for judicial proceedings, but the guards of the National Audit Office closed the passage. He then said that it was a flagrante delicto action and he entered by force with the police. There were no further details of this action (I).
