Political groups are waiting for the signature review

A massive delivery of affiliations and support signatures _ of national and provincial political organizations that aspire to be part of the ballot for the election of 2017 was recorded at the officed of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym).
Yesterday concluded the term for these groups to meet one of the seven requirements laid down in Article 315 of the Code of Democracy.
Until the afternoon nearly three million signatures that entered the Electoral Control Center to be verified and validated were reported.
Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante, a party that seeks its resurgence after the disappearance of the Prian, delivered 16,800 affiliations left to complete the 174,199 sigantures required to be a legally recognized organization.
“We have gathered enough signatures and are confident that the party will be approved,” said Wilson Sanchez, president of the group, who noted that next February they will be able to nominate their leader businessman Alvaro Noboa for president.
