Pope Francis explained his position about controversial topics
Posted On 31 Jul 2013
Pope Francis is very pleased of having chaired the XXVIII World Youth Day in Brazil, since several of his public interventions, and during meetings with authorities and bishops, he outlined his position on certain issues.
Corruption, poverty, and the Church were some of the issues addressed by the Pontiff, who called for world peace.
Francis condemned violence, drug trafficking and the evils of humanity and invited young people to come to Jesus.
“If someone is gay, seeking the Lord and a good person, who am I to judge him? We must not marginalize people by this, they must be integrated into society,”said Francis in a meeting with journalists travelling with him on the plane that returned to Rome from Rio de Janeiro.
