Prefects of Guayas and Los Rios seek to resolve border disputes

jaiarala-troyaPrefects of Guayas and Los Rios, Jimmy Jairala and Marco Troya, met yesterday in Babahoyo to resolve conflicts of territory between the two provinces.

Both presented the technical commissions to accurately identify the areas in dispute and prepare a report within 30 days.

Los Ríos keeps disputes with Guayas in three segments: Matilde Esther, San Agustín and in a group of locations between the Salitre and Vinces counties.

Jairala said that commonwealth will exist between Los Ríos, Azuay and Bolivar to reach the sectors involved in uncertainty with works.
