President Lenin Moreno meets with oil companies

President Lenin Moreno is scheduled to meet today with representatives of four private oil companies. Moreno will meet separately with directors of Halliburton, Repsol, Petrosur-Petroriva Consortium, Baker Hughes, and GE Company (BHGE).
Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE) announced last week its interest in expanding its offer of services in the country.
Baker Hughes and General Electric Oil & Gas have merged, and now Baker Hughes, a GE Company (BHGE) can extract, transport and refine oil, said Luis Constante, a business manager for Ecuador.
The director said that the company is interested in investing in fields that are of interest and impact for the government and the national economy. Among them, the Sacha field, although it is not the only one that generates expectations. (I)
