President Lenin Moreno opened the most modern dairy plant in the country

The Tonicorp dairy plant, the most modern in the country, was opened Thursday afternoon.

The event was attended by President Lenin Moreno, who toured the facilities accompanied by an entourage of government officials and the deputy mayor of Guayaquil Doménica Tabacchi.

An approximate investment of $ 97 million will allow the dairy company to increase its production from 80 million liters per year to 150.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the new plant will generate 3,550 new jobs and allow the export of Ecuadorian products to the United States, the Caribbean Islands, Puerto Rico, Panama, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. (I)
