“Prime Minister” rocks Bogota’s Music Festival
Ecuadorian rock band, Prime Minister, served as an international group in the 17th edition of Rock al Parque, held in Bogotá on July 1to 4, 2011.
The Ecuadorian band was the responsible one to close the first day of the event considered the greatest rock activity in Latin America. His presentation, which lasted about 50 minutes, included songs like Far From Free, Under Your Spell and Smoking Monkeys.
“The reception given to the group in this setting was spectacular and was reflected in the infallible ‘thermometer rating’ by the public known as pogo (messy dance),” said Gabriela Escalante, representative of the band.
This festival takes place since 1995 in Bogota; it has become the international largest free show in Latin America. This edition had an average daily attendance of 113,000. (BG)
