PSC filed a complaint against the CNE for electoral fraud
Cinthia Viteri National Assembly member and reelected in office, accompanied by Carlos Vera, who is running for a seat in the Assembly, yesterday managed to enter the premises of the National Electoral Council of Guayas, after been prevented by the military, they were greeted by Paul Salazar, Vice Chairman.
With copies they showed the changes made that favor the candidate of the ruling party Octavio Vilacreses, to the detriment of the list 6 candidate Daniel Cuellar, who say, has been chosen as Provincial Assembly member for District 2 in Guayas.
“Within an Hour of review, because we have not been allowed to do it before, because we were denied the right to be informed, we have discovered the first 6 minutes of voting in which it is manifested the deceitful and malicious acts that constitute the crime of election fraud” reported Cinthia Viteri. She cited the polling station 43 of men of the parish Tarqui, which gave the Social Christian candidates 176 votes and in the system there are only 30.
“This whole process is a true criminal conspiracy with direct and intellectual authors and co-authors , accomplices and accessories including undoubtedly people of the National Electoral Council,” stated Viteri. “Our votes are being transfered to the government’s movement Avanza, which has no votes in Guayas“.
Meanwhile, Andres Roche, confirmed the statement by Viteri and reported that the National Electoral Council Vice President Paul Salazar, agreed and in front of the computer system verified the complaint. “This can be generalized and assured that he will have to open the polls and count vote by vote”
THE CNE undertook to initiate research
