On Sunday, after attending the church of Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral Castle, her Scottish residence in Aberdeenshire, Queen Elizabeth II spoke in a comment, regarding the referendum on Thursday for the independence of Scotland.

“I hope that people will think very carefully about the future,” said the monarch of 88.

Last week, Buckingham Palace issued a statement stressing the neutrality of the Queen on the referendum. Two polls published on Sunday, predict a narrow victory of No, while another company aims to the Yes victory.
